 About Labuan Bajo |
| A-small
island at the west side of Flores Island, located between Sumbawa,
(west Nusa Tenggara) and Flores (East Nusa Tenggara), but it's still
part of Flores Island, and special managed by west Manggarain Regency
government with the central of government at Labuan Bajo. It's almost
all hills and barren, Except form palm trees and some woods, but it's
famous for it's Giant Lizard, which are considered the last of their
kind, remaining in the world to day. The "komodo dragon"
(Varanus Komodensis0 is actually a "Giant Lizard". And the
only animal of it's kind that has survived. Growing up to 4 meters
in length, and weight ± 150 kg. It's ancestor Roamed the Earth
up to half a million years ago
